These hints follow common EU, Slovak and Czech invoicing practice. They are not legal or tax advice: you are responsible for what your invoices must contain.

    How to create an invoice

    1. Fill in your details as the supplier: name, address, company and VAT IDs and your IBAN. Save them as a profile so the next invoice starts ready.
    2. Add the customer, or pick one from your address book.
    3. Check the invoice number, dates and payment method, and choose the invoice language: Slovak, Czech, English or German.
    4. Add the items with quantity, unit, price and VAT rate. The VAT summary and the amount due are calculated for you.
    5. A payment QR code is added automatically (PAY by square for Slovak accounts, QR Platba for CZK, EPC QR for other EUR accounts).
    6. Download the PDF or print it. The invoice is saved in your history in this browser.

    What Zebra Invoice does

    • Exact VAT math

Amounts are calculated in whole cents, VAT is summarised per rate, and you can enter prices with or without VAT, add discounts, a paid deposit and cash rounding.

    • Payment QR codes

PAY by square for Slovak banks, QR Platba for Czech banks and the EPC QR code (GiroCode) for SEPA payments, filled with IBAN, amount, due date and symbols.

    • Real PDF

The PDF has selectable, searchable text with full Slovak and Czech diacritics, your logo, signature, page numbers and a table header on every page.

    • Four languages

Print the invoice in Slovak, Czech, English or German, with dates and numbers formatted for that language.

    • History and address book

Invoices, customers and supplier profiles are saved in your browser, with automatic numbering and a JSON backup you can export and import.

    • Private by design

Everything runs on your device. Nothing you type is uploaded, and there is no account to create.

    Frequently asked questions

    Is Zebra Invoice free?

Yes. You can create, download and print as many invoices as you need, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limits.

Are my invoices or company details uploaded anywhere?

No. The invoice, the QR code and the PDF are created in your browser. Your data is stored only in this browser so it is there next time, and you can export or delete it at any time.

Which payment QR codes are supported?

PAY by square (read by all Slovak banking apps), QR Platba (Czech banking apps) and the EPC QR code, also called GiroCode (common in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Belgium and Finland). A QR code is added for bank transfers in EUR, or in CZK for QR Platba.

How is VAT calculated and rounded?

Each line is rounded to cents once. VAT is then calculated from the total of each VAT rate and rounded half up, which is how Slovak and Czech invoices usually show the VAT summary. If you enter prices including VAT, the VAT is worked out of each rate’s total.

Can I make invoices in Slovak, Czech or German?

Yes. Choose SK, CS, EN or DE in Invoice details. All printed labels, dates and number formats follow that language, for example Faktúra and Dátum splatnosti in Slovak.

    Is the invoice legally valid?

Zebra Invoice includes the fields that EU, Slovak and Czech invoices commonly need, such as IDs, VAT IDs, dates, the VAT summary and reverse charge wording, and it points out missing details. It is not legal or tax advice: check what your invoices must contain with your accountant or tax office.

    Where are my saved invoices?

In your browser’s storage on this device, in the Saved tab. They stay until you delete them or clear your browser data. Use Export backup to keep a copy or move them to another device.

Can I add my logo and signature?

Yes. Upload a logo and a signature or stamp in the Supplier tab. They appear in the preview, the printout and the PDF, and are stored only in your browser.
